Undergraduate college students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare now have a resource for navigating the path toward a graduate education in the health sciences, thanks to a program established by É«ÀÇÉçÇø in Glendale.

The Mentors in Medicine & Science (MIMS) mentorship program pairs undergraduate students from Maricopa County with É«ÀÇÉçÇø students from all eight University colleges, representing over 20 different healthcare career tracks. The MIMS program provides monthly communication between MWU mentors and their undergraduate partners about potential careers, how to navigate their professional journey, creating good study habits, and navigating the process of applying to graduate and professional schooling and training. An additional on-campus MIMS event in the spring will offer hands-on lab experiences for mentors and mentees.

Year-long MIMS Program includes:

• Monthly online or in-person meetings with your mentor in your field of interest
• Fall on-campus tour and networking event
• Access to shadow MWU students throughout the year
• Spring Simulation Center lab activities event
• T-shirt, prizes, and networking opportunities with healthcare professionals, Program Faculty, and Admissions

Space is limited, please register for this event no later than Monday, September 15, 2025.

Attendance at this event is required in order for students to be paired with mentors.
